HISTORY
Nang dumating ang mga Kastila sa Meycauayan ay natagpuan nila ang isang pook na magubat at naliligid ng putikan. Sa harap ng gubat na ito ay itinayo ang simbahan. Sa paglipas ng panahon ay nilinis ng mga mananampataya ang gubat na ito at dahil ito ay nasa likuran ng simbahan, ito ay tinawag na Licod. Gayunpaman, sa kasalukuyan ay napalitan ang Licod ng ngalang Zamora bilang parangal kay P. Jacinto Zamora na bayani ng panahon ng mga Kastila. Ang mga pangunahing hanapbuhay rito ay platerya, pangingisda at kultihan ng balat. Ang kasalukuyang Kapitan ng barangay ay si G. Maximo Israel.
